About the Founder

Hello there! I’m Tamara Sallam, a dedicated science and math educator with a strong background in scientific research, laboratory sciences, and STEM education. My passion for teaching began early on when I realized the power of breaking down complex concepts into clear, intuitive lessons. For the past 10 years, I’ve been honored to help students excel in chemistry, biology, and algebra. I am committed to tailoring my teaching methods to match your unique learning styles and ensuring you not only understand the material but also apply it with confidence.

Beyond tutoring, I bring hands-on experience from my work in biopharmaceutical research and process development. As a Process Development, I specialize in plasmid DNA manufacturing, fermentation, and purification techniques—critical processes in the production of gene therapies and vaccines. My previous role as a Research Laboratory Technician at Baylor College of Medicine further strengthened my expertise in cell culture, PCR, protein purification, and molecular biology techniques, reinforcing my deep understanding of the very concepts I teach.

Academically, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s of Science, earning Dean’s List honors throughout my studies and membership in the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. My experience extends beyond the lab and classroom—through my leadership with Global Medical Brigades, I’ve helped coordinate medical and dental care for underserved communities abroad, emphasizing my commitment to science, education, and service.

My mission is to equip students with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities they need to succeed—not just in school, but in their future careers. Whether you're preparing for a tough exam, strengthening your foundation in STEM, or looking for real-world applications of science and math, I am committed to empowering you with the tools to excel.
